Deja & Brandon.......What Is That? Velvet? :)

Whole world.....Deja & Brandon.  Deja & Brandon.......The Whole World!  Now that we've gotten the introductions out of the way I'd say it was way past time that I get to giving you fine readers a rundown on one of the most in tune couples that I've ever had the great pleasure of working with!

I'm going to omit the fact that it was yet another blistering hot day.  As well as the overall lack of common sense being utilized by local or as of yet, unidentified non-local motorists in and around the city of New Orleans that day.  Also, the ridiculously over bearing, chest swelling idiocy of the parking lot supervisors who instructed me to proceed into the line of traffic from which I sat, seething with rage, even after I told him that I was there to photograph a wedding.  Luckily my fellow photographer, Trent Spann, was Johnny on the spot to pick up any slack on my part.  Yep!  We won't dwell on those day of irritations that we have no control over.  Instead, I can focus on everything that went right, which was a whole helluva lot!

Despite the dual temple massaging on my part towards my fellow humans that day I was treated to a positive couple and their fantastic friends and family.  From the time I met up with Deja at Hotel Mazarin, to our time spent at The Pavilion of Two Sisters in City Park and back downtown for Deja & Brandon's epic second line, all of the outside irritations were less than foot notes on an overall kick ass wedding.  I can rest assured that if and when these two decide to have kids that those kids won't fall into the pool of knuckleheads that I had to deal with that day.

You might think reading this that I allowed those interactions to overshadow the most important aspect of the day, which was to ensure that these two had a stellar experience.  To which I would like to add two points of emphasis : 1. I promise you I'm not bitter and 2.  If you really think that then I naturally must assume you were one of many afore mentioned knuckleheads and I request that you stop annoying your fellow man.

Many thanks to Deja & Brandon!  It was a delight to document your big day!

Cheers,

Titus
