Andrea & Luke ---- The Other Side of the Pillow

Ok!  So who has two thumbs and hasn't been keeping up with his blog posts about the amazing humans that he is lucky enough to photograph?  Yes, I'm sorry to say it's this guy!  I give you all the respect that you deserve in figuring out that these warm and sunny images weren't taken over the last month (July to be exact! eeeek!).  The winter hibernation had me stockpiling slacker fat cells at an alarming rate.  Hopefully this entry will be the catalyst to new posts but since Mardi Gras is upon us I wouldn't hold your breathe for me to start churning out blog posts.

Back to the couple at hand.  Whole world meet Andrea and Luke.  I was lucky enough to be recommended to these two beauties by an friend in the wedding industry, Kelly Davis Leff, who is a bomb ass Videographer!  So if y'all need some Spielberg-esque cinematography stylings to your life you'll find her business name and link at the end of this blah blah blah session of mine!

Not long after Kelly gave Andrea and Luke my info, I naturally sweet talked them into letting me be a part of their wedding day.  I'm here to confirm to you all that the smiles she lends to some of these photos are even more epic to witness in person.  I've always had a soft spot for anyone who laughs intensely at my ridiculous ramblings and Andrea certainly is at the top of that list!  My good pal Luke had just as much a positive demeanor although I think he was a bit more cautiously intrigued by my jokes than Andrea!  Luke knows I'm just busting his chops.  You could tell by his expressions that day that he knew he hit the jackpot with this girl and you can't blame him for that.

These two were in great spirits all through their portraits at the Renaissance Hotel, their one of a kind ceremony at St. Patricks Church and finally their reception held at Mothers, a New Orleans favorite.  I'm here to confirm to the world that photographing an outstanding and down to earth couple is every bit the treat you'd expect it to be.  It's even better when their wedding party and family and friends are all equally outstanding.  It can't hurt to mention that it's a rough night when you get to stuff your face with Po' Boys from Mother's, take photos for a living and then end the night alongside the bride and groom and a  handful of mutual friends that were invited to the wedding tipping back tasty drinks!  A tip of the cap to Luke and Andrea!

Cheers,

Titus
